
Second aircraft made completely from scratch since COVID by Blackbird UAV.
Team placed 3rd overall at the national UAV competition.

A modular quadcopter was designed to detect and suppress wildfire hotspots. Despite major setbacks, including two motor failures and a broken Raspberry Pi, the team successfully completed the mission thanks to support from Queen’s Aerospace Design Team and UVic Aero.
